Sematide Injection 0.25mg (1 Prefilled Syringe)
Take control of your blood sugar management with Sematide Injection 0.25mg, a once-weekly semaglutide injection formulated to support adults with type 2 diabetes. Used alongside diet and exercise, it helps improve glycemic control with a convenient prefilled syringe for easy administration.
Requires Prescription
Yes
Generic Name
Semaglutide
Used For
Type 2 Diabetes
How It Works
Sematide contains semaglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist that works similarly to the body’s natural GLP-1 hormone. It helps regulate blood sugar by increasing insulin release when glucose levels are high, reducing glucagon secretion, and slowing gastric emptying after meals. Its long-acting formula supports effective once-weekly dosing.
Usage and Safety
Dosage
The usual starting dose is 0.25mg injected once weekly for 4 weeks. This is an initiation dose and not intended for long-term glycemic control. Your doctor may increase the dose to 0.5mg weekly after 4 weeks, with further adjustment if needed. Use on the same day each week, with or without food, or as directed by your physician.
