SEMATIDE 0.25MG PFS INJ
Support your diabetes management with SEMATIDE 0.25MG PFS INJ, a prefilled semaglutide injection designed to help improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes when used alongside diet and exercise. Its once-weekly dosing offers convenience while supporting long-term glycemic management.
Requires Prescription
Yes
Generics
Semaglutide
Used For
Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
How it Works
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist that mimics the action of the natural GLP-1 hormone. It helps lower blood sugar by stimulating insulin release when glucose levels are high, reducing glucagon secretion, and slowing gastric emptying, which may also help support appetite control. Its prolonged action allows for convenient once-weekly dosing.
Usage and Safety
Dosage
Treatment is usually started with 0.25 mg once weekly for 4 weeks. This starting dose is intended for treatment initiation and is not for glycemic control. After 4 weeks, the dose is typically increased to 0.5 mg once weekly, with further adjustments made by your physician if needed. Use exactly as directed by your healthcare provider.
