LEFLOX 250MG contains levofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin, and soft tissues. It works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase, effectively stopping bacterial growth and reproduction. Each tablet contains 250mg of levofloxacin. The medication is typically taken orally once or twice daily, depending on the infection type and severity. It is important to complete the full course of treatment as prescribed, even if symptoms improve earlier. Common uses include treatment of community-acquired pneumonia, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, uncomplicated urinary tract infections, and complicated skin infections. LEFLOX is effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Take this medication with or without food, but maintain consistent timing. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Avoid prolonged sun exposure as levofloxacin may increase photosensitivity.
