CEROPHENE TAB contains Clomiphene Citrate, a selective estrogen receptor modulator used to stimulate ovulation in women with infertility due to anovulation or oligovulation. It works by blocking estrogen feedback at the hypothalamus and pituitary, increasing FSH and LH secretion to promote follicle development and ovulation. Indicated for anovulatory infertility in women with adequate estrogen levels and normal liver function. Typical dosing begins at 50 mg daily for 5 days, with adjustments based on response. Common side effects include hot flashes, abdominal discomfort, nausea, and visual disturbances. Use with caution in patients with ovarian cysts, liver disease, or abnormal uterine bleeding. Not recommended during pregnancy or lactation. Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children. Use only as directed by a healthcare professional.
