The synthetic hormone Zoladex (goserelin acetate) Implant 3.6 mg is used to treat endometriosis or breast cancer in women and prostate cancer symptoms in men. In women, Zoladex is also used to prepare the uterine lining for endometrial ablation, a surgical procedure used to treat irregular uterine bleeding.
