The conditions for which this medication is prescribed include severe bronchospasm (narrowing of the airways), status asthmatic (a condition marked by recurrent asthma attacks without a break in between), and managing and preventing symptoms of lung impairment, such as wheezing, shortness of breath, and tightness in the chest, which are brought on by conditions like emphysema, pneumonia, etc. It can also be applied to the treatment of simple preterm labor.
