Injections of nalbuphine are used to treat moderate to severe pain. It can also be administered in conjunction with general anesthesia prior to surgery, both before and after the procedure. It can also be applied to reduce pain during childbirth. Nalbuphine is a member of the class of drugs known as narcotic analgesics, or painkillers.
