LEVOCIL 250MG contains levofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin, and soft tissues. It works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase, effectively stopping bacterial growth and reproduction. Suitable for adults with susceptible gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial infections. Take as directed by your healthcare provider, typically once daily with or without food. Complete the full course even if symptoms improve to prevent antibiotic resistance. Common side effects may include nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, or headache. Avoid in patients with known hypersensitivity to fluoroquinolones or tendon disorders. Not recommended during pregnancy without medical consultation. Store at room temperature away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
