BONVIVA 150MG TAB contains ibandronic acid, a bisphosphonate medication used to treat and prevent osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. This once-monthly oral tablet helps strengthen bones by slowing bone loss and reducing fracture risk. Ibandronic acid works by inhibiting osteoclast-mediated bone resorption, promoting bone density maintenance. Take one tablet monthly on the same date with a full glass of water on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before food or other medications. Swallow whole without chewing or sucking. Maintain adequate calcium and vitamin D intake alongside treatment. Suitable for women at risk of osteoporotic fractures.
